Poles and Boots

Gave up on trying to make poles work. Wouldn't stay locked. Sent the Eastons (original gear link is here) back to REI and bought some Lekis in Lincoln.

The Oboz boots I got in Hot Springs finally gave out after 1600+ miles. Bought some inexpensive Hi-Tec boots in Bethel to finish the last 250+ miles with.

Note to friends and family: Cell service isn't working well for us lately. Texts we're sending aren't all getting out. Some texts y'all are sending us aren't getting to us. Since we get occasional internet, emailing will work better than texting.
